The Off Campus cast has, similar to their fictional counterparts, have found success in their personal dating lives.

Based on the Off Campus book series by Elle Kennedy, the show, which premiered in May 2026, follows an elite ice hockey team — and the women in their lives — as they “grapple with love, heartbreak and self-discovery — forging deep friendships and enduring bonds while navigating the complexities that come with transitioning into adulthood,” read the official synopsis.

Season 1 centered around the “sexy and fun ‘opposites attract’ romance between quiet songwriter, Hannah and Briar University’s all-star hockey athlete, Garrett.” Going off Kennedy’s book order, Logan’s (Antonio Cipriano) story was expected to be next, then Dean’s (Stephen Kalyn) before Tucker’s (Jalen Thomas Brooks) turn.

Off screen, some cast members — like Belmont Cameli, Stephen Kalyn and Mika Abdalla — have offered glimpses into their personal relationships. Others, however, have preferred to keep their love lives out of the spotlight.

Shifting Gears is returning for a third season — but there has been concern about not everyone returning.

During the February season finale of the hit ABC sitcom, Matt (Tim Allen) and Eve (Jenna Elfman) got their happy ending — more on that here — when they reconciled and jetted off to Spain. Matt’s daughter, Riley (Kat Dennings), however, found herself in a much more complicated place in her love life.

Riley came clean to Gabe (Seann William Scott) about her feelings for him after two seasons of build-up, even ending her romance with newcomer Andy (Jesse Williams). Audiences were left shocked, however, when Gabe chose not to make the leap and explore his interest in Riley. That is until the very last moments of the episode when he changed his mind and came to fight for Riley — as did Andy.

“The long term plan from when I started the show — even in casting Seann — was that these two are going to have a will-they, won’t-they and they’re destined to be together. He has always loved her since they were kids and she wasn’t aware at first. Then he declares his love at the end of last season,” showrunner Michelle Nader exclusively told Us Weekly about the initial idea for the show. “We [cast a love interest for Gabe] and it was funny and working. Then when we thought about this arc for Riley — the idea was that she and Andy were going to break up.”

'Shifting Gears’ Cast: Who the ABC Stars Have Dated in Real Life

She continued: “They were definitely gonna break up at the end because we know what we want and we know where we’re going. Then it was just like, ‘Oh my God, Jesse Williams is so funny.’ So I was like, ‘What are we doing?'”

Williams’ performance ultimately “pivoted” the show in a new direction.

“Now we don’t know. We don’t know who she should be with,” Nader admitted. “That’s the story now. It was very much happening in real time for us.”

Shifting Gears, meanwhile, has other surprises planned for a potential third season.

“I obviously want to continue the love triangle with Jesse, Seann and Kat. I obviously want to bring Eve back. But there are — I can’t say right now — but there’s going to be something I’m hooking up that I’ve already talked to the writers about,” Nader teased to Us. “It is another potential bombshell of a person to come into their life.”

Will Trent received backlash after killing off several pivotal characters — and now Scott Foley is speaking out.

“What a wonderful gift to receive after a wonderful experience on #willtrent,” Foley wrote via Instagram alongside a photo of his name in the show’s title card. “Thanks to the cast and crew, the writers and creators who made the experience so special.”

He added: “This will surely make my wife and daughter say ‘Awww’ each time they pass by and really, that’s enough for me.”

Foley’s post comes after the May 5 season finale of the hit ABC series showed Angie (Erika Christensen) finally giving birth but her happiness was short-lived because her husband, Seth (Foley), died after collapsing in the hospital.

Most Shocking TV Exits of 2026: From 'Grey's Anatomy' to 'Virgin River'

“It’s just Game of Thrones out here,” Iantha Richardson, who plays Faith, joked during an exclusive interview with Us Weekly. “I have no clue if death is imminent on this show [but] I hope not.”

Richardson, 35, recalled the reasoning she heard about Seth’s death, adding, “It sets up a beautiful emotional arc for people in the coming season of what’s to come. So there’s a lot to look forward to.”

Will Trent
Disney/Lynsey Weatherspoon

Despite the potential onscreen growth, Richardson acknowledged how “hard” it is to see cast members leave the show.

“Losing people like that definitely keeps you on your toes. Nobody expected to lose one person — let alone two — in very different genres of what the show has. But to lose two in a matter of three weeks is just gut wrenching over and over again,” she noted. “What is expected is a lot of emotional roller-coasters. I don’t know if it’s death necessarily but I hope not. I do know that there is a lot of emotional recoil that will come in the season to come.”

Based on a book by Karin Slaughter, Will Trent follows a special agent at the Georgia Bureau of Investigation who was abandoned at birth and grew up in Atlanta’s overwhelmed foster care system. Will (Ramon Rodríguez) now relies on his unique perspective while pursuing justice, resulting in the highest clearance rate in the GBI.

In addition to Rodríguez, the show stars Richardson, Christensen, Jake McLaughlin, Sonja Sohn and Kevin Daniels. Season 4 threw viewers for a loop when Sohn’s character, Amanda, was killed off after being on the show since the beginning.

“I am never too comfortable in any space because you really just never know. But I don’t think [a possible death for Faith] is at the forefront of my mind,” Richardson told Us about her personal reaction to multiple cast exits within a matter of weeks. “I don’t think that would happen. But who knows. If it’s meant for the greater good of Will Trent then I’m sure there will be a great reason behind it and it’ll all happen in the best way. But I hope not.”

Will Trent has been renewed for season 3 and is currently streaming on Hulu.

'Grey's Anatomy' Star Breaks Silence on Potential Exit After Cast Departures

Grey’s Anatomy has teased that Harry Shum Jr.’s character was fired from Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital — but does that mean the actor is leaving the show?

“Who got fired?” Shum Jr., 44, quipped to E! News on Sunday, May 17, in reference to Dr. Benson “Blue” Kwan being let go for secretly giving a patient an experimental treatment that was denied by the FDA.

Shum Jr. noted that he didn’t know what to expect from season 23.

“I wish I knew. I am just as much in the dark as audiences,” he said. “But to me, it’s the hope of, ‘Do audiences want to see him go or do they want to see him go back to the hospital?’”

Which 'Grey's Anatomy' Stars Are — And Aren't — Returning After Cast Exits?

While fan response matters, Shum Jr. clarified that it is “not fully up to the audience,” adding, “It’s up to the writers and Disney. But also, I think it’s good to see the doctors make mistakes, but also with good intentions.”

He concluded: “It wasn’t just because he was a bumbling mess. He was very motivated in making sure that someone got to be able to choose life over death.”

Season 22 of Grey’s Anatomy faced plenty of cast shakeups as Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) previously chose to take a sabbatical after the shocking death of her colleague Monica (Natalie Morales). It was subsequently reported that Scorsone’s break would last until the end of 2025 in an attempt to cut costs.

GREY’S ANATOMY
Disney/Anne Marie Fox)

The show previously reduced the minimum guarantees for its veteran cast members to 14 out of its 18 episodes per season. While some of Grey’s Anatomy’s consistent stars were missing for four episodes, Scorsone’s absence was doubled.

Showrunner Meg Marinis previously hinted that not every character would be safe as the story continued.

“But even in the last two seasons with what you saw this year, we had to reduce the cast a little bit [because of industry-wide budget cuts], and everybody has very passionate feelings about their favorite characters,” Marinis told The Hollywood Reporter in May 2025. “But if we can get the writers upset then we know we’re doing it right. It’s not as satisfying a story if people aren’t upset when someone leaves. It’s supposed to make people upset and sad, so I’m sure there’ll be some arguments. But I’ve been persuaded before to change my mind on things.”

Most Shocking TV Exits of 2026: From 'Grey's Anatomy' to 'Virgin River'

Before season 22 came to an end earlier this month, Kim Raver and Kevin McKidd exited the show.

“Grey’s Anatomy has been a huge chapter of my life, creatively and personally, and I’m deeply grateful for everything the show has given me over the years,” McKidd, 52, said in a March statement. “Playing Dr. Owen Hunt and directing on the show have both shaped me enormously, and I’ve had the privilege of working with an extraordinary group of people throughout that time. I’m particularly thankful to Shonda Rhimes for creating Owen, and for the encouragement she gave me as I stepped into directing.”

He continued: “As that chapter comes to a close, I’m looking forward to what’s ahead — building new work, telling new stories and taking everything I’ve learned into the next phase of my career.”

Raver, 57, also broke her silence on the news.

“Playing Dr. Teddy Altman will always hold a dear and special place in my heart. Sixteen years ago, I had the incredible privilege of stepping into this role thanks to the vision of Shonda Rhimes and Betsy Beers,” she wrote in her own statement. “Since that day, it has been a true gift to bring the iconic words of Shonda and our brilliant team of writers to life. … To the fans — your unwavering devotion and support are the reason this show remains such a force. Thank you for making this set my place of magic and my home.”

Why Did Yellowstone's 'Marshals' Have to Kill Off Kelsey Asbille's Monica?

19 May 2026 at 15:13

Yellowstone fans were shocked when Marshals killed off Kelsey Asbille‘s character, Monica — but the spinoff may not have had a choice.

Puck reported that Marshals ran into issues when plotting out the new CBS show centered on Kayce Dutton’s (Luke Grimes) life after Yellowstone. To avoid making the new series too identical to its flagship show, Marshals chose to remove Monica from the narrative and shift the voice of the show to be more of a fast-paced procedural.

According to the newsletter, Paramount allegedly worked with lawyers for months on how to successfully feature other Yellowstone leads Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly) and Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser) in their own Dutton Ranch spinoff without facing potential legal issues over their story being too similar to the OG show.

CBS and Paramount have not publicly addressed the Puck report.

Why Did They Kill Off Yellowstone's Monica on 'Marshals'? Death Explained

Paramount Network’s Yellowstone, which aired from 2018 to 2024, introduced Us to Kayce and his wife, Monica, who remained at the center of the show until the finale. After teaching at a local school on the Broken Rock Indian Reservation, Monica went on to become a professor at Montana State University while navigating life with Kayce, who moved them back to the Yellowstone Ranch following his past tension with dad John (Kevin Costner).

Following John’s death, Kayce, a former U.S. Navy SEAL, became the new owner and operator of the Yellowstone Ranch. Kayce and Monica ended the show alive — and were still together — before Marshals began.

Kayce Dutton's Marshals Trailer Confirms Death of Kelsey Asbille's Monica

When the series premiered in March, however, fans learned Monica had died after battling cancer.

“Kayce had such a perfect ending in Yellowstone,” showrunner Spencer Hudnut told TVLine at the time. “His dreams had finally come true. As we were trying to figure out how to tell the next chapter in Kayce’s story, it felt like he really needed to be shaken out of that. Unfortunately, tragedy tends to find Kayce, so something bad was going to happen for him one way or the other. It just sort of played out that it was going to be Monica.”

'Yellowstone' Cast: Where Are They Now Amid Multiple Show Spinoffs?

Hudnut said Monica’s death will continue to drive Kayce, adding, “To me, Monica is really guiding Kayce through this first episode, trying to help him find his new path. And if you actually break it down, Tate is at that rally to honor his mother, and Kayce goes there to protect Tate. So if not for Monica, Kayce never would have been in that position and may not have found this path.”

He concluded: “We really wanted to be respectful of the way that we said goodbye to her. I also didn’t want to step on the ending of Yellowstone, because what they had was a beautiful ending. Unfortunately, real life intervened.”

Asbille, 34, has not yet broken her silence on Monica’s onscreen death. She did grant access for her likeness to be used on the show, which allowed Marshals to show photos of the fictional character on screen.

Marshals airs on CBS Sundays at 8 p.m. ET.

‘Married at First Sight U.K.’ Pulled After Stars Claimed Husbands Raped Them

19 May 2026 at 14:11

All episodes of Married at First Sight U.K. have been pulled off the air after multiple allegations of rape from former contestants.

In a BBC Panorama investigative report on Monday, May 18, two women from Channel 4‘s MAFS U.K. claimed they had been sexually assaulted while filming the show. The first contestant, who wanted to remain anonymous, said her husband raped her and later threatened her with an acid attack.

The second unnamed woman claimed she told Channel 4 and production company CPL before broadcast about allegedly being raped by her husband. Her episodes were still aired despite her attempting to bring her abuse to light. A third woman, Shona Manderson, accused her onscreen husband of a nonconsensual sex act.

All men involved denied the claims against them. The BBC report alleged that Channel 4 was aware of the claims before broadcast but told Panorama they were “wholly uncorroborated and disputed.”

Love Island’s Most Controversial Contestants and Moments Through the Years

Channel 4 has since removed all episodes of the program from its streaming and linear services. The MAFS U.K. social media accounts have also been scrubbed amid the controversy while travel company Tui told the BBC that it was pausing its sponsorship of the show.

A representative for Channel 4 confirmed that the network had commissioned an external review into contributor welfare on the show in April.

“MAFS U.K. is produced under some of the most comprehensive and robust welfare protocols in the industry,” the channel said. “These include the most thorough background checks available, a Code of Conduct which clearly sets out behavioural standards, daily contributor check-ins with a specialist welfare team and access to additional support before, during and after filming.”

The statement continued: “The physical and psychological well-being of all contributors is of paramount importance throughout the process. All duty of care processes are regularly reviewed and, where appropriate, strengthened.”

According to the open letter, Channel 4 acknowledged that last month it had been presented with “serious allegations of wrongdoing against a small number of past contributors, allegations that we understand those contributors have denied.”

Channel 4 added that when the concerns were raised, “prompt and appropriate action was taken, based on the information available at the time. Channel 4 strongly refutes any claim to the contrary.”

There is now an external review being conducted by law firm Clyde & Co, which will examine the welfare protocols in place on the show when the claims were raised and whether any changes should be made to the current protocols.

“I want to express my sympathy to contributors who have clearly been distressed after taking part in Married at First Sight U.K.,” Channel 4 chief executive Priya Dogra told The Hollywood Reporter. “The well-being of our contributors is always of paramount importance.”

All the ‘Married at First Sight’ Couples Still Together Today

Dogra said that Channel 4 “acted quickly, appropriately, sensitively and with well-being front and center.”

“It would be wholly inappropriate for me to comment on what are very serious allegations made against some MAFS U.K. contributors,” she continued. “Those allegations — which I understand are disputed by the contributors accused — are not something that Channel 4 is in a position to adjudicate on. We are also mindful of our ongoing duty of care to all contributors, and the need to preserve the anonymity and privacy of all involved.”

She concluded: “Nevertheless, because we aspire to the highest standards of contributor welfare, I felt strongly as Channel 4’s new CEO that it was right that we look again at how we handled issues raised at the time and ask whether changes should be made to further strengthen contributor welfare, … That’s why last month I commissioned an external review of contributor welfare on MAFS U.K. That review will report to me in the coming months.”

The love triangle at the center of The Other Bennet Sister is only getting more complicated.

In Us Weekly‘s exclusive clip from the Wednesday, May 20, episode of BritBox’s The Other Bennet Sister, Mary (Ella Bruccoleri) and Mr. Ryder (Laurie Davidson) discuss societal expectations.

“I find these occasions really quite intolerable. All these poor young ladies parading about and bearing the weight of their parents’ expectations,” Ryder tells Mary. “It’s not in the least romantic.”

Mary, however, disagrees with Ryder’s point of view.

Meet 'The Other Bennet Sister' Love Triangle Cast: From Mary to Tom Hayward

“I think these occasions mean a great deal to many young women and for good reasons,” she says. “None of them wants to fail.”

In response, Ryder elaborates on his perspective. “Doesn’t it seem to you, Miss Bennet, that most people give far too much weight to the idea of marriage?” he asks before Mary replies, “Because for some people, that is their only means of survival.”

Ryder suggests that men and women should only follow their heart.

“I believe we should sweep away these tired, old rules and follow our inclinations as we wish,” he tells Mary, who argues, “I think you will find, Mr. Ryder, that the liberty in such situations tends to be enjoyed by the man while the consequences are born — quite literally, in many cases — by the woman.”

Based on the novel by Janice Hadlow, The Other Bennet Sister follows the events of Pride and Prejudice from Mary’s point of view. The story then departs from that to follow Mary as she travels to London and the Lake District, and the overlooked sister from the big Bennet family has a romantic adventure in Regency England.

Best Love Triangles in TV and Movie History Over the Years

In addition to Bruccoleri, The Other Bennet Sister stars Ruth Jones, Richard E. Grant, Indira Varma, Richard Coyle, Róisín Bhalla, Reggie Absolom and Jasmine Sharp. Davidson, Dónal Finn, Varada Sethu, Aaron Gill and Maddie Close also appear on the show.

Poppy Gilbert, Molly Wright, Grace Hogg-Robinson, Tanya Reynolds, Anna Fenton-Garvey, Ryan Sampson and Lucy Briers round out the cast.

“I was definitely encouraged to break the rules somewhat,” Davidson previously told Us about his approach to the show. “That was part of the role, which was fun.”

He continued: “In a period drama, it felt very naughty in a way. Like, ‘I don’t think I’m supposed to be doing this.’ That was part of the joy of playing that part.”

New episodes of The Other Bennet Sister air Wednesdays on BritBox.

Monaghan and White dated for five years before tying the knot.

“We had gotten married in Australia, and I was getting ready to shoot Mission: Impossible III,” she shared. “We didn’t have time to take a honeymoon because I had to fly back. We get back to the hotel room, and I get the call sheet, and it is an intimate scene I am doing with Tom Cruise.”

Monaghan continued: “[Peter] is like, ‘Baby, this is going to be amazing. Just follow his lead. He is a total pro.'”

In addition to Monaghan and McConaughey, the new season features Uma Thurman, Colman Domingo, Elizabeth Banks, Rhys Darby, Tiffany Haddish and Machine Gun Kelly.

Monaghan, who shares two kids with White, previously recalled getting her big break alongside Cruise.

“I was so nervous about it,” Monaghan shared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in June 2025. “I get up at 4 a.m., I dart out of the hotel, I forget my key, of course. And I go to work, and I proceed to have the best day with Tom and J.J. Abrams, our director.”

After the first day, Monaghan was thrilled to update White.

“My husband said, ‘Baby, how did it go?’ And I said, ‘It was amazing. It was so good.’ He was like, ‘Brush your teeth and tell me all about it,’” she continued. “And so I said, ‘Oh, honey, he was so sweet. It was a lovely day. It was so perfect.’”

Monaghan added: “He looked at me, and he grabbed my arms, and he goes, ‘How cool is it that you were making out with Tom Cruise on our honeymoon?’ I was like, you know what? I married the right dude.”
