The Off Campus cast has, similar to their fictional counterparts, have found success in their personal dating lives.

Based on the Off Campus book series by Elle Kennedy, the show, which premiered in May 2026, follows an elite ice hockey team — and the women in their lives — as they “grapple with love, heartbreak and self-discovery — forging deep friendships and enduring bonds while navigating the complexities that come with transitioning into adulthood,” read the official synopsis.

Season 1 centered around the “sexy and fun ‘opposites attract’ romance between quiet songwriter, Hannah and Briar University’s all-star hockey athlete, Garrett.” Going off Kennedy’s book order, Logan’s (Antonio Cipriano) story was expected to be next, then Dean’s (Stephen Kalyn) before Tucker’s (Jalen Thomas Brooks) turn.

Off screen, some cast members — like Belmont Cameli, Stephen Kalyn and Mika Abdalla — have offered glimpses into their personal relationships. Others, however, have preferred to keep their love lives out of the spotlight.

Shifting Gears is returning for a third season — but there has been concern about not everyone returning.

During the February season finale of the hit ABC sitcom, Matt (Tim Allen) and Eve (Jenna Elfman) got their happy ending — more on that here — when they reconciled and jetted off to Spain. Matt’s daughter, Riley (Kat Dennings), however, found herself in a much more complicated place in her love life.

Riley came clean to Gabe (Seann William Scott) about her feelings for him after two seasons of build-up, even ending her romance with newcomer Andy (Jesse Williams). Audiences were left shocked, however, when Gabe chose not to make the leap and explore his interest in Riley. That is until the very last moments of the episode when he changed his mind and came to fight for Riley — as did Andy.

“The long term plan from when I started the show — even in casting Seann — was that these two are going to have a will-they, won’t-they and they’re destined to be together. He has always loved her since they were kids and she wasn’t aware at first. Then he declares his love at the end of last season,” showrunner Michelle Nader exclusively told Us Weekly about the initial idea for the show. “We [cast a love interest for Gabe] and it was funny and working. Then when we thought about this arc for Riley — the idea was that she and Andy were going to break up.”

She continued: “They were definitely gonna break up at the end because we know what we want and we know where we’re going. Then it was just like, ‘Oh my God, Jesse Williams is so funny.’ So I was like, ‘What are we doing?'”

Williams’ performance ultimately “pivoted” the show in a new direction.

“Now we don’t know. We don’t know who she should be with,” Nader admitted. “That’s the story now. It was very much happening in real time for us.”

Shifting Gears, meanwhile, has other surprises planned for a potential third season.

“I obviously want to continue the love triangle with Jesse, Seann and Kat. I obviously want to bring Eve back. But there are — I can’t say right now — but there’s going to be something I’m hooking up that I’ve already talked to the writers about,” Nader teased to Us. “It is another potential bombshell of a person to come into their life.”

“I can go play on Shifting Gears,” she revealed in May 2026 before suggesting a possible cameo on the Fox project from her Shifting Gears love interest. “[Having Tim Allen on] would be very entertaining. He’s very funny and I think Stephen interrogating Tim Allen [would be cool].”

Will Trent received backlash after killing off several pivotal characters — and now Scott Foley is speaking out.

“What a wonderful gift to receive after a wonderful experience on #willtrent,” Foley wrote via Instagram alongside a photo of his name in the show’s title card. “Thanks to the cast and crew, the writers and creators who made the experience so special.”

He added: “This will surely make my wife and daughter say ‘Awww’ each time they pass by and really, that’s enough for me.”

Foley’s post comes after the May 5 season finale of the hit ABC series showed Angie (Erika Christensen) finally giving birth but her happiness was short-lived because her husband, Seth (Foley), died after collapsing in the hospital.

“It’s just Game of Thrones out here,” Iantha Richardson, who plays Faith, joked during an exclusive interview with Us Weekly. “I have no clue if death is imminent on this show [but] I hope not.”

Richardson, 35, recalled the reasoning she heard about Seth’s death, adding, “It sets up a beautiful emotional arc for people in the coming season of what’s to come. So there’s a lot to look forward to.”

Despite the potential onscreen growth, Richardson acknowledged how “hard” it is to see cast members leave the show.

“Losing people like that definitely keeps you on your toes. Nobody expected to lose one person — let alone two — in very different genres of what the show has. But to lose two in a matter of three weeks is just gut wrenching over and over again,” she noted. “What is expected is a lot of emotional roller-coasters. I don’t know if it’s death necessarily but I hope not. I do know that there is a lot of emotional recoil that will come in the season to come.”

Based on a book by Karin Slaughter, Will Trent follows a special agent at the Georgia Bureau of Investigation who was abandoned at birth and grew up in Atlanta’s overwhelmed foster care system. Will (Ramon Rodríguez) now relies on his unique perspective while pursuing justice, resulting in the highest clearance rate in the GBI.

In addition to Rodríguez, the show stars Richardson, Christensen, Jake McLaughlin, Sonja Sohn and Kevin Daniels. Season 4 threw viewers for a loop when Sohn’s character, Amanda, was killed off after being on the show since the beginning.

“I am never too comfortable in any space because you really just never know. But I don’t think [a possible death for Faith] is at the forefront of my mind,” Richardson told Us about her personal reaction to multiple cast exits within a matter of weeks. “I don’t think that would happen. But who knows. If it’s meant for the greater good of Will Trent then I’m sure there will be a great reason behind it and it’ll all happen in the best way. But I hope not.”

Will Trent has been renewed for season 3 and is currently streaming on Hulu.

'Grey's Anatomy' Star Breaks Silence on Potential Exit After Cast Departures

Grey’s Anatomy has teased that Harry Shum Jr.’s character was fired from Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital — but does that mean the actor is leaving the show?

“Who got fired?” Shum Jr., 44, quipped to E! News on Sunday, May 17, in reference to Dr. Benson “Blue” Kwan being let go for secretly giving a patient an experimental treatment that was denied by the FDA.

Shum Jr. noted that he didn’t know what to expect from season 23.

“I wish I knew. I am just as much in the dark as audiences,” he said. “But to me, it’s the hope of, ‘Do audiences want to see him go or do they want to see him go back to the hospital?’”

Which 'Grey's Anatomy' Stars Are — And Aren't — Returning After Cast Exits?

While fan response matters, Shum Jr. clarified that it is “not fully up to the audience,” adding, “It’s up to the writers and Disney. But also, I think it’s good to see the doctors make mistakes, but also with good intentions.”

He concluded: “It wasn’t just because he was a bumbling mess. He was very motivated in making sure that someone got to be able to choose life over death.”

Season 22 of Grey’s Anatomy faced plenty of cast shakeups as Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) previously chose to take a sabbatical after the shocking death of her colleague Monica (Natalie Morales). It was subsequently reported that Scorsone’s break would last until the end of 2025 in an attempt to cut costs.

GREY’S ANATOMY
Disney/Anne Marie Fox)

The show previously reduced the minimum guarantees for its veteran cast members to 14 out of its 18 episodes per season. While some of Grey’s Anatomy’s consistent stars were missing for four episodes, Scorsone’s absence was doubled.

Showrunner Meg Marinis previously hinted that not every character would be safe as the story continued.

“But even in the last two seasons with what you saw this year, we had to reduce the cast a little bit [because of industry-wide budget cuts], and everybody has very passionate feelings about their favorite characters,” Marinis told The Hollywood Reporter in May 2025. “But if we can get the writers upset then we know we’re doing it right. It’s not as satisfying a story if people aren’t upset when someone leaves. It’s supposed to make people upset and sad, so I’m sure there’ll be some arguments. But I’ve been persuaded before to change my mind on things.”

Most Shocking TV Exits of 2026: From 'Grey's Anatomy' to 'Virgin River'

Before season 22 came to an end earlier this month, Kim Raver and Kevin McKidd exited the show.

“Grey’s Anatomy has been a huge chapter of my life, creatively and personally, and I’m deeply grateful for everything the show has given me over the years,” McKidd, 52, said in a March statement. “Playing Dr. Owen Hunt and directing on the show have both shaped me enormously, and I’ve had the privilege of working with an extraordinary group of people throughout that time. I’m particularly thankful to Shonda Rhimes for creating Owen, and for the encouragement she gave me as I stepped into directing.”

He continued: “As that chapter comes to a close, I’m looking forward to what’s ahead — building new work, telling new stories and taking everything I’ve learned into the next phase of my career.”

Raver, 57, also broke her silence on the news.

“Playing Dr. Teddy Altman will always hold a dear and special place in my heart. Sixteen years ago, I had the incredible privilege of stepping into this role thanks to the vision of Shonda Rhimes and Betsy Beers,” she wrote in her own statement. “Since that day, it has been a true gift to bring the iconic words of Shonda and our brilliant team of writers to life. … To the fans — your unwavering devotion and support are the reason this show remains such a force. Thank you for making this set my place of magic and my home.”

Grey’s Anatomy is streaming on Hulu.
