βDaredevil: Born Againβ Finaleβs Hallway Scene Took Three Days of Prep and One Day to Shoot

The second season of Daredevil: Born Againsurprised fans when it brought Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) into the back half of its run. Perhaps the biggest surprise wasn't the fact that Jessica came back to help Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), but that she and her fellow Defender, Luke Cage (Mike Colter), had a daughter together. Season 3 is set to complete the Defenders reunion, as set photos reveal that Danny Rand (Finn Jones), aka the Immortal Iron Fist, will play a major role in the story. If Daredevil: Born Again plays its cards right, it can actually make Iron Fist a compelling character.

Superhero movies may dominate the box office, but some of the most exciting storytelling in the genre is happening right on television. Let's be real. Long-form formats give characters more room to breathe, relationships time to develop, and storylines the space to build towards satisfying payoffs. We've seen this time and time again. Just look at the recent release of Spider-Noirand Invincible. None of that development could have happened in a 2-hour window.
