Chrisley Knows Best alum Lindsie Chrisley is speaking out after being arrested for an alleged DUI.

Us Weekly can confirm that Chrisley, 36, was arrested in Georgia on Saturday, May 23, for DUI less safe, attempting to elude police, improper passing, reckless driving and speeding. In Georgia, DUI less safe means that a person can face charges of driving under the influence even if their blood alcohol concentration is below 0.08 percent.

The Cherokee County Jail confirmed that the former reality star was booked that night and released after posting bond on Sunday, May 24.

Cherokee County Jail confirmed that Chrisley’s bail was set at $1,355 for the DUI less safe, $680 for improper passing, $565 for reckless driving and $2,006 for speeding.

Chrisley Family Drama Through the Years: Legal Trouble, Feuds and More

Chrisley later broke her silence in a statement, telling TMZ, “I got pulled over speeding past a car on a two lane road because they almost hit an animal and I was trying to miss hitting them and whatever the animal was.”

Chrisley noted that she planned to “fight the charge.”

Lindsie is the daughter of TV personality Todd Chrisley and ex-wife Teresa Terry. Todd and his second wife, Julie Chrisley, recently faced their own legal woes after they were found guilty of conspiracy to commit bank fraud, conspiracy to defraud the United States and tax fraud in 2022. They were released in May 2025 following a full pardon from President Donald Trump.

Lindsie’s arrest, meanwhile, comes one month after she filed a protective order against her boyfriend, David Landsman.

Court documents obtained by Us Weekly noted that Lindsie and Landsman were in a relationship for approximately two years until he was arrested in April for aggravated assault, strangulation and battery.

The pair were allegedly involved in an altercation, with Landsman becoming “verbally aggressive” over a photo he found on Lindsie’s phone. Landsman reportedly “apologized for his behavior” but then “became agitated and aggravated” again.

Landsman allegedly “strangled” Lindsie “multiple times.”

“[Lindsie] punched [Landsman] near his eyebrow to get him to stop strangling her,” the docs noted. “[Landsman] grabbed [Lindsie] by the throat again and opened the door and threw her outside. [Lindsie] hit her head on the concrete. At this point, [Lindsie] was able to leave [Landsman]’s home.”

A Comprehensive Guide to the Chrisley Family: Todd, Julie and More

Landsman called authorities to make a report against Lindsie, according to 911 audio obtained by TMZ. Authorities later met Lindsie at her house and examined “injuries on her neck and her head.”

“Law enforcement noted that [Lindsie] had lacerations on her head from being thrown onto the ground and noted marks on [Lindsie]’s neck from being strangled,” the paperwork read.

The documents also detailed a prior incident which involved Landsman allegedly holding Lindsie “down on the ground” before putting “his foot on her ankles to keep her from being able to leave.” Lindsie claimed Landsman had strangled her “multiple other times.”

Neither Landsman nor Lindsie have publicly addressed the claims.

  • 'Rivals' Stars Address Surprising Reaction to Rupert and Taggie's Age Gap Yana Grebenyuk
Fictional age gaps have inspired strong reactions from TV fans, which is why Alex Hassell and Bella Maclean were surprised by the response to Rupert and Taggie on Rivals. “I’ve certainly never been part of something before that is having a ripple effect in the real world,” Hassell, 45, exclusively told Us Weekly about the reception to Rupert and Taggie’s 16-year age difference. “It’s fascinating.” Maclean, 29, meanwhile, recalled her initial concerns. “We were probably nervous at points about th

'Rivals' Stars Address Surprising Reaction to Rupert and Taggie's Age Gap

22 May 2026 at 00:01

Fictional age gaps have inspired strong reactions from TV fans, which is why Alex Hassell and Bella Maclean were surprised by the response to Rupert and Taggie on Rivals.

“I’ve certainly never been part of something before that is having a ripple effect in the real world,” Hassell, 45, exclusively told Us Weekly about the reception to Rupert and Taggie’s 16-year age difference. “It’s fascinating.”

Maclean, 29, meanwhile, recalled her initial concerns.

“We were probably nervous at points about the age gap,” she noted. “It’s so funny that we’re certain that people who we thought maybe would be curious or maybe were not such a big fan of the relationship ended up being people who loved it the most. It’s incredible.”

'Rivals' Cast Discusses Fan-Favorite Age Gap Romance Between Taggie, Rupert

After seeing the online response, Hassell pointed out that Rupert and Taggie’s romance is more than just an age gap, adding, “It is about potentially this young and fairly open-hearted girl with her heart on her sleeve. She is this innocent, naive young woman, and the strength of her love and purity could change the biggest rogue in the whole world. It is a very potent fantasy for young people.”

Based on Jilly Cooper‘s novel of the same name, Rivals is centered on a feud between two men fighting for control of a television station in 1980s Britain. While viewers were waiting to see whether Tony (David Tennant) or Rupert would come out on top, it was Rupert’s surprising bond with Taggie that stole the show.

Rivals Alex Hassell and Bella MacLean Discuss Rupert and Taggie s Age Gap Romance And Their Bumpy Season 2 Journey
Hulu

The fictional couple got off to a rocky start, but that paved the way for Rupert and Taggie to connect on a more emotional level. Season 2, which airs Fridays, has hit the pair with plenty of roadblocks.

“I think it’s good for it to feel a little painful, like you’re just dying for them to be together,” Maclean noted, to which Hassell added, “The audience’s feelings mirror their feelings. You want to be together, but things conspire to get in the way of it.”

Hassell previously spoke to Us about the discourse surrounding the age difference.

“Something about the age gap that is fascinating — because obviously it’s in the book and it’s a really important part of the story — is that it’s a complex trope in TV shows and in films,” he shared in 2024. “It isn’t a positive thing in culture that every 40-year-old man in every TV show has a young partner. But in this — and usually it has nothing to do with the story — it’s justified because it is a really important part of Rupert’s redemption.”

At the time, the duo weren’t sure how Rupert and Taggie’s connection would keep playing out.

Which 'Rivals' Stars Are — And Aren't — Returning After Season 2 Recast?

“Taggie really wants to be with Rupert. By the end of season 8 — well, hopefully by then they would be together,” Maclean quipped. “But by the end of episode 8, she made it very, very clear that she really wants to be with him, she loves him and she can’t hide that anymore. Basically I think Taggie’s arc will be about rooting for Rupert and trying to get that. But whether or not they get together is another thing.”

Maclean pointed out that “there’s so much that can happen in season 2.”

“There’s so many other romances that will flare up. If it’s Rivals, there definitely will be more romantic partners probably,” the actress hinted, while Hassell mentioned Rupert’s entanglement with Nafessa Williams‘ character, Cameron. “There’s a big obstacle when he says in that scene before they kiss that he sort of feels trapped. He has promised Cameron to look after her — and he doesn’t even know what has just happened with Tony.”

He continued: “I’m sure that he’ll be having to try and work out what to do there. I hope the road to true love is bumpy. I hope that Rupert isn’t changed too quickly and too much. Part of the pleasure is what Rupert does and gets up to … what a mischief maker he is — on some level — and that he has these huge blind spots.”

Will Trent received backlash after killing off several pivotal characters — and now Scott Foley is speaking out.

“What a wonderful gift to receive after a wonderful experience on #willtrent,” Foley wrote via Instagram alongside a photo of his name in the show’s title card. “Thanks to the cast and crew, the writers and creators who made the experience so special.”

He added: “This will surely make my wife and daughter say ‘Awww’ each time they pass by and really, that’s enough for me.”

Foley’s post comes after the May 5 season finale of the hit ABC series showed Angie (Erika Christensen) finally giving birth but her happiness was short-lived because her husband, Seth (Foley), died after collapsing in the hospital.

Most Shocking TV Exits of 2026: From 'Grey's Anatomy' to 'Virgin River'

“It’s just Game of Thrones out here,” Iantha Richardson, who plays Faith, joked during an exclusive interview with Us Weekly. “I have no clue if death is imminent on this show [but] I hope not.”

Richardson, 35, recalled the reasoning she heard about Seth’s death, adding, “It sets up a beautiful emotional arc for people in the coming season of what’s to come. So there’s a lot to look forward to.”

Despite the potential onscreen growth, Richardson acknowledged how “hard” it is to see cast members leave the show.

“Losing people like that definitely keeps you on your toes. Nobody expected to lose one person — let alone two — in very different genres of what the show has. But to lose two in a matter of three weeks is just gut wrenching over and over again,” she noted. “What is expected is a lot of emotional roller-coasters. I don’t know if it’s death necessarily but I hope not. I do know that there is a lot of emotional recoil that will come in the season to come.”

Most Heartbreaking TV Deaths of 2026: From 'Grey's Anatomy' to 'Bridgerton'

Based on a book by Karin Slaughter, Will Trent follows a special agent at the Georgia Bureau of Investigation who was abandoned at birth and grew up in Atlanta’s overwhelmed foster care system. Will (Ramon Rodríguez) now relies on his unique perspective while pursuing justice, resulting in the highest clearance rate in the GBI.

In addition to Rodríguez, the show stars Richardson, Christensen, Jake McLaughlin, Sonja Sohn and Kevin Daniels. Season 4 threw viewers for a loop when Sohn’s character, Amanda, was killed off after being on the show since the beginning.

“I am never too comfortable in any space because you really just never know. But I don’t think [a possible death for Faith] is at the forefront of my mind,” Richardson told Us about her personal reaction to multiple cast exits within a matter of weeks. “I don’t think that would happen. But who knows. If it’s meant for the greater good of Will Trent then I’m sure there will be a great reason behind it and it’ll all happen in the best way. But I hope not.”

Will Trent has been renewed for season 3 and is currently streaming on Hulu.

Euphoria surprised viewers by killing off Nate Jacobs — but how did Jacob Elordi‘s character die on screen?

Season 3 of the hit HBO show followed Nate as he struggled with the debt he owed to an Armenian mobster. He had several body parts chopped off while trying to find the money to clear up his issues. Nate even got his wife, Cassie (Sydney Sweeney), involved and she started to make money on OnlyFans to support him.

During the Sunday, May 24, episode of Euphoria, Cassie was told she had 72 hours to get $1 million to save Nate. Viewers saw that he was trapped in a box underground and would soon die from dehydration. While Cassie was trying to find the money to free Nate, a snake entered his box and appeared to attack him.

Later in the episode, Cassie — with help from Maddy (Alexa Demie) and Alamo (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje) arrived to save Nate. The only problem? He was already dead after several fatal bites from the rattlesnake.

Who Could Die During the 'Euphoria' Season 3 Finale? All the Options

“That was a cool way to go. Nate was someone who has made so many mistakes and made so many dark choices,” Elordi explained in a segment that aired after the Sunday, May 24, episode. “It’s cool to see it all come to what it’s come to.”

Elordi recalled having to film in a coffin, adding, “My shoulders were touching the side and they couldn’t move my arms. Then they would drill the lid on it and it would get dark.
It was really nice, actually. It was quite peaceful in there.”

The stunt team, meanwhile, stressed how important it was to make sure the actor had oxygen. They praised Elordi for agreeing to spend “minimal time in the coffin.” Viewers may be surprised, however, to find out that creator Sam Levinson “wanted to shoot it with a real snake” so a rattlesnake and a boa constrictor were both featured on screen.

“Snakes were rattling, which was really alarming when you are locked in a box,” Elordi noted. “They had a boa constrictor that they put a fake rattler on the end of it.”

He continued: “He was super cute. He was really cuddly. So he kind of just sidled up next to me and it was nice. But he was really sleepy. He was a sleepy snake. I had to kind of nudge him to get him to come up. And that was it.”

At the end of the segment, Elordi reflected on his time playing Nate.

“It’s a bittersweet thing,” he said. “This show is a massive part of — not just my career — but my life. It’s been amazing and I’m so proud of being a part of this.”

Elordi has played Nate since the show premiered in 2019. Before the show returned, Elordi teased how viewers would meet Nate again in the third and likely final season.

“I finished filming a new season just recently, and it’s a completely different thing,” he shared on a December 2025 episode of Variety’s Actors on Actors interview. “I really do think [he will be nicer].”

Elordi continued: “Whether it works or not — I don’t know. There’s a chance that what I’ve done is not good.”

FBI is returning for season 9 — but is everyone from the cast coming back?

Created by Law & Order creator Dick Wolf, FBI, which premiered in 2018, follows the agents of the Federal Bureau of Investigation in New York City. The personnel have endured their fair share of ups and downs — with Maggie (Missy Peregrym) going through a tragedy when serial slasher Ray DiStefano (Matthew Rauch) kidnapped and killed her sister, Erin (Adrienne Rose Bengtsson).

“I think it’s really important what we’re doing, because we’re highlighting how to move forward. Everybody experiences loss. Everybody goes through the depths of emotions in life,” she explained to Deadline in March. “You have an opportunity to show connection, relationship, intimacy and growth. And this is exactly why I do what I do. I hope this makes people feel seen and that they want to keep going after such a horrific experience, and that they don’t give up.”

Peregrym was hopeful about the plans for the show.

“To go so far. I was like, ‘What are we doing after this?’ You know, I’ve been playing the same character for eight years, and we’re going so far,” she noted. “What’s the plan? How are we going to move through the next steps of getting back on your feet and being able to be in the world again? We’re not a drama where we sit around in our underwear and chat on the couch. We’ve got to get back to work.”

She concluded, “So at what point are we going to address the reality of this scenario, and we are, we are doing it in the best way that we can with our show, like the way we do it on a procedural. But you know, as much as it scared me, I was terrified to go into that space at the end. I’m finding it really interesting to play my character now and finding these beats of when I can insert this stuff and when to work. And it’s just a challenge. It just feels like we’re doing a new show again. Do you know what I mean? And maybe that’s a gift.”

Peregrym recently denied plans to leave the show after Maggie mourned the loss of her sister.

“I’ll be honest. I’m on a procedural show, and I wonder what impact this is possibly making? And sometimes I get freaked out because I think we’re just highlighting some of the horrors of humanity every week,” Peregrym told Deadline in March. “And what is this? What are we doing this for? After joining the show in season 8, Martinez expressed her hope that she would remain on the show as Eva Ramos.

“Before I came into the show, I sat down with showrunner Mike Weiss and told me who he was thinking Eva was going to be. That was really the deciding factor for me to be like, ‘Yes, this is something that’s very interesting to me. This is something that I think I can offer and give value to and make it exciting and different,'” she exclusively told Us Weekly. “When you join a new show, you get the opportunity to do something different. 'Sheriff Country' Showrunner on [Spoiler]'s Secret Mom Twist, Cast Changes

23 May 2026 at 00:59

Sheriff Country came to an epic end with a secret mom twist — but what comes next in season 2?

During the season 1 finale on Friday, May 22, Mickey (Morena Baccarin) took down Alec (Wes Chatham) after discovering her boyfriend and DEA agent was secretly working for Miranda (Kelli O’Hara). She was then tasked by the Deputy Director of the DEA — Eva (Rachel Ticotin) — to work with her dad, Wes (W. Earl Brown), despite their estrangement.

Wes was brought in to discuss his role as a confidential informant but that went off the rails when he recognized Eva as Mickey’s mother — who was supposed to be dead.

“We’re told in the pilot of season 1 that Mickey’s mother is dead and it’s quite clear she’s dead. She’s not part of the picture. One of the writers pitched it to me relatively early in season 1 [that she was secretly alive], and I dismissed it,” showrunner Matt Lopez exclusively told Us Weekly. “Over the course of the season, more and more writers started to get on board. I was a fairly late convert because I don’t want to just turn over a card to turn over a card. If it gives us really good story and reveals something about the characters we care about and it’s grounded in real human emotion then I’m interested.”

Meet the Cast of 'Sheriff Country' Spinoff — Including 'Fire Country' Alums

Lopez is excited to unpack that in season 2.

“It resets our family dynamic that’s at the heart of this show,” he teased. “And it addresses all the interesting character wrinkles that it gave us to play. We’ll see in the early episodes, Wes thinks he and Mickey are on the same page that they were both betrayed by this woman. Mickey isn’t as on board and in some ways you can make the case that Wes’ betrayal was worse. We’ll unpack all of this.”

He continued: “She hasn’t been part of the picture since Mickey was like 5 or 6 years old and who owes Mickey a bigger debt of gratitude? Wes believed she was dead and we will unspool that whole story of what went into that decision to essentially stage her death. It’s really fun and it’s got a lot of delicious turns to it.”

Fire Country Stars Discuss Sheriff Country Crossover
CBS

Looking ahead at the show’s future, Lopez said the return will “subvert expectations,” adding, “There is a time jump but then we will fill in like what happened in the scene that we didn’t see. The emotional aftershocks are going to last much more than an episode and we’ve set up this incredible dynamic where Mickey’s essentially barely speaking to her father and now their handler is the woman who Mickey has thought was dead for the last 30 years. It’s got a great sort of engine out the gate.”

There will be some cast additions as Skye (Amanda Arcuri) and Hank (Ian Quinlan) get more screen time. When asked by Us about Baccarin’s husband, Ben McKenzie, pitching himself for a role on Sheriff Country, Lopez mentioned he “recently had lunch” with the actor.

Most Shocking 2025 TV Moments: From Baby Twists to Secret Husband Reveals

“I had lunch with him on the weekend and I came in on Monday and was like, ‘Let’s start thinking of something for Ben.’ He may pass and I don’t know if we can afford Ben but that would be great,” he teased.

As for Mickey’s romance with Boone (Matt Lauria)? The actor and Lopez broke down what to expect in a separate interview with Us. Lopez is also working on a pilot for a medical drama set in the Fire Country and Sheriff Country universe.

“I would love to have that headache to figure out how to do a crossover of all three shows. There’s a natural sort of nexus between a hospital, a fire station and a police station. What excites us and the studio and network about a medical show set in this town is the same way that say Mickey does law enforcement differently, how is healing patients different?” he told Us. “How is practicing medicine with our doctors and nurses different in a small town like Edgewater?”

HBO Makes Decision About Euphoria's Future After [Spoiler]'s Finale Death

1 June 2026 at 06:58

HBO has finally revealed whether Euphoria will be coming back for more seasons after that shocking death in the season 3 finale.

The network confirmed on Monday, June 1 that the third season was the show’s last. Creator Sam Levinson made the announcement on the “Popcast” before HBO also confirmed the news to Variety.

The news comes after an explosive season 3 finale that permanently wrapped up certain characters’ story lines — including Zendaya‘s Rue and Jacob Elordi’s Nate, who were killed off on screen.

Euphoria’s series finale also aired after a tumultuous return. Creator Sam Levinson specifically received backlash for how he portrayed Cassie’s (Sydney Sweeney) OnlyFans arc after some creators weren’t thrilled with how their line of work was portrayed on screen.

Is 'Euphoria' Returning for Season 4? What the Cast Said About Show's End

Levinson, however, defended the decision to push boundaries.

“[Cassie] has got her dog house and her little dog ears and the nose, and that has its own humor,” Levinson explained to The Hollywood Reporter in April. “But what makes the scene is the fact that her housekeeper is the one filming it.”

He continued: “What we wanted to always find is the other layer of absurdity that we’re able to tie into it so that we’re not too inside of her fantasy or illusion,” the 41-year-old added. “The gag is to jump out, to break the wall.”

Levinson broke down how he and director of photography Marcell Rév brought the scenes to life.

“An obvious choice would’ve been something modern and very plain and fancy, but we ended up choosing this mid-century home, which is a little tacky, but also stuck in the ‘70s,” Rév explained. “It’s probably a strange choice, but also it gives us possibilities. OnlyFans has its own aesthetic and how you elevate that aesthetic to the show’s aesthetic is a challenge. I’m not going to lie.”

How Did Zendaya's Character Rue Die on 'Euphoria'? Cause of Death Explained

Despite the backlash, Levinson stood by his vision.

“Some of these scenes we only lit with these ring lights that she would use. When you’re inside, it’s a beautiful, glowing front light, but then you jump out of it and it’s just a pool of light and everything surrounding it is dark. It’s just gnarly and jarring,” he added. “We wanted to capture what she’s trying to show the audience and be inside of it. But then also pull back wider and see how depressing it is.”

Off Campus breakout star Mika Abdalla and Jake Short have ended their engagement.

“Due to recent interest in Mika’s personal life it would feel remiss to not address that her and Jake are no longer together,” a rep for Abdalla tells Us Weekly exclusively. “They continue to support each other and remain on friendly terms, and kindly ask for privacy and respect.”

The pair originally met on the set of Sex Appeal in 2021 and then started dating. Four years after they met, their engagement was confirmed via Instagram.

Following the highly successful premiere of Prime Video’s Off Campus, Abdalla — who stars as Allie — is currently focused on filming the second season. Based on Elle Kennedy‘s book The Score, season 2 will revolve around Allie and Dean’s (Stephen Kalyn) love story.

“Even though we do tease Dean and Allie a lot earlier than people expect, you are still left wanting a lot more,” Abdalla exclusively told Us in May. “And that’s something I’m really excited about. You just want to see more.”

Abdalla explained that the show wanted to “stay true to a lot” of Allie and Dean’s love story.

“Allie and Hannah’s story lines are so connected to one another that it just made a lot of sense to touch on that this season,” she said about the extended focus on Allie and Dean throughout season 1. “All the books, they build off of each other and they’re all connected. It didn’t really make sense to not include certain elements from the other books in this season.”

Looking ahead, Abdalla expressed excitement at the chance to explore more of the fictional couple’s relationship.

“I’m just really looking forward to digging deeper into who Allie and Dean are. They both kind of have these fronts, these personas that are hard to kind of crack through. They are kind of stereotypes of themselves, if that makes sense,” she told Us. “But in the books, there’s so much beneath the surface of Dean and there’s so much beneath the surface of Allie.”

Abdalla continued: “When it is time for our season, I’m excited to dig emotionally into that a little bit more. [We] see Allie and Dean as their exteriors a lot in season 1. And while that is fun, and they are super fun characters to play, I think as actors, selfishly, both of us are really excited to like, get psychological.”

Zendaya Breaks Silence on 'Euphoria' Finale After [Spoiler]'s Shocking Death

Zendaya broke her silence on Euphoria‘s finale ending with a devastating death.

In a segment after the Sunday, May 31, episode of the hit HBO series, Zendaya, 29, was seen delivering a speech to the cast and crew on her last day on set, saying, “I want to say thank you. I’m really grateful for every single one of you.”

The actress got emotional after wrapping up Rue’s story.

“Many of you have been here from the beginning and have watched me grow up,” she continued. “It’s been such a pleasure and an honor. Thank you so much.”

‘Euphoria’ Tragedies: Most Shocking Deaths Through the Years

The finale concluded with Alamo (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje) killing Rue after he found out that she was working undercover to take him down. He gave her pain killers that were laced with fentanyl — and she ultimately overdosed halfway into the episode.

Ali (Colman Domingo) found Rue dead on his couch and the rest of the episode followed his mission to get revenge on Alamo. The final episode of the show was Ali at the farm that Rue spent time at in the season 3 premiere where he said grace at the dinner table in her honor.

Elsewhere in the segment, creator Sam Levinson defended the decision to kill off Rue.

“Zendaya’s performance has been so wonderful and layered over the course of these seasons. We fell in love with this character — this girl who was flawed and f**ked up but has a good heart,” he said. “It’s a blessing to work with talented people and people that you love.”

Levinson noted that the show was always building to Rue’s death, adding, “In the end, I wanted to tell an honest story about addiction. I also wanted to tell a story about grief and the emotional turmoil that it can create.”

The screenwriter called the finale “an honest ending.”

“The honest ending is that people like Rue don’t make it,” he told the camera before mentioning Angus Cloud‘s death in July 2025 following an accidental overdose. “People relapse and they f*** up. They’re not ready to get clean. And they weren’t dying like they are now with the influx of fentanyl into this country.”

Levinson continued: “I could say with absolute certainty that if I was going through what I went through when I was younger now then I wouldn’t be here either. There’s no reason to sugarcoat it. I wanted to tell the story for Angus and for people who weren’t granted a second chance.”

Euphoria is currently streaming on HBO Max.

Euphoria's Sydney Sweeney Is Topless in Sex Scene Before [Spoiler]'s Death

Euphoria started its newest episode off with Sydney Sweeney‘s Cassie topless again in a graphic sex scene — and ended with a shocking death.

During the penultimate episode on Sunday, May 24, Cassie wasn’t able to get her OnlyFans account back. She had to build back her followers by scheming with Maddy (Alexa Demie) to hook up with actor Dylan (Homer Gere). After they had sex, Cassie secretly uploaded a photo of them together to his social media account in order to drive business to her sex work.

This marked the most recent instance of the HBO show having Sweeney strip down for a scene. In the final season, viewers have been surprised by the amount of times Sweeney’s character was seen in a topless scene. (Late in Sunday’s episode, Cassie’s husband Nate (Jacob Elordi) was killed off in a gruesome twist.)

Cassie’s arc in season 3 also received criticism after some OnlyFans creators weren’t thrilled with how their line of work was portrayed on screen. Creator Sam Levinson, however, defended the decision to push boundaries.

Sydney Sweeney's Candid Quotes About Filming Nude Scenes for 'Euphoria'

'Euphoria' Cast: See the HBO Show's Stars Then and Now

Despite the backlash, Levinson stood by his vision.

“Some of these scenes we only lit with these ring lights that she would use. When you’re inside, it’s a beautiful, glowing front light, but then you jump out of it and it’s just a pool of light and everything surrounding it is dark. It’s just gnarly and jarring,” he added. “We wanted to capture what she’s trying to show the audience and be inside of it. But then also pull back wider and see how depressing it is.”

Euphoria airs on HBO Sundays at 9 p.m. ET.

Which 'Grey's Anatomy' Stars Are — And Aren't — Returning After Cast Exits?

Grey’s Anatomy is returning for season 23 — but not every cast member is confirmed to reprise their role after multiple departures.

The medical drama has faced plenty of cast shake-ups this season alone. After the shocking death of Monica (Natalie Morales) early in the season, Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) chose to take a sabbatical. It was subsequently reported that Scorsone’s break would last until the end of 2025 as the result of a cost-saving measure.

The show is already reducing the minimum guarantees for its veteran cast members to 14 out of the show’s 18 episodes per season. While some of Grey’s Anatomy‘s consistent stars will be missing for four episodes, Scorsone’s absence was doubled.

Showrunner Meg Marinis previously hinted that not every character would be safe this season.

Grey’s Anatomy’s Biggest Exits Over the Years

“But even in the last two seasons with what you saw this year, we had to reduce the cast a little bit [because of industry-wide budget cuts], and everybody has very passionate feelings about their favorite characters,” Marinis told The Hollywood Reporter in May 2025. “But if we can get the writers upset then we know we’re doing it right. It’s not as satisfying a story if people aren’t upset when someone leaves. It’s supposed to make people upset and sad, so I’m sure there’ll be some arguments. But I’ve been persuaded before to change my mind on things.”

News broke in March 2026 that Kevin McKidd and Kim Raver would be leaving the show in a shocking exit. Creator Shonda Rhimes later hinted how the season will wrap up for Teddy (Raver) and Owen (McKidd).

“Over the years, we have had the privilege of watching Owen and Teddy’s love story evolve and deepen — two characters who always seem to find their way back to each other. It is both bittersweet and joyful to give this couple the happy ending their story deserves,” she teased in a statement. “Kevin and Kim bring extraordinary talent, nuance and heart to their roles as Owen and Teddy. Their contributions leave an indelible mark on Grey’s Anatomy, both in front of and behind the camera. I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with them both and to see them shine.”

She concluded: “While we will all miss seeing them in the halls of Grey Sloan Memorial each day, I am excited to witness where Kim’s and Kevin’s journeys will take them in the future.”

“Grey’s Anatomy has been a huge chapter of my life, creatively and personally, and I’m deeply grateful for everything the show has given me over the years,” Kevin McKidd said in a statement in March 2026. “Playing Dr. Owen Hunt and directing on the show have both shaped me enormously, and I’ve had the privilege of working with an extraordinary group of people throughout that time. I’m particularly thankful to Shonda Rhimes for creating Owen, and for the encouragement she gave me as I stepped into directing.”

He continued: “As that chapter comes to a close, I’m looking forward to what’s ahead — building new work, telling new stories and taking everything I’ve learned into the next phase of my career.”

In addition to Kevin McKidd, Kim Raver is also leaving the show after playing Teddy since 2006.

“Playing Dr. Teddy Altman will always hold a dear and special place in my heart. Sixteen years ago, I had the incredible privilege of stepping into this role thanks to the vision of Shonda Rhimes and Betsy Beers,” she wrote in her own statement. “Since that day, it has been a true gift to bring the iconic words of Shonda and our brilliant team of writers to life. … To the fans — your unwavering devotion and support are the reason this show remains such a force. Thank you for making this set my place of magic and my home.”
