Caleb Shomo's Wife Breaks Silence After Beartooth Singer Comes Out as Gay

Beartooth lead singer Caleb Shomo’s wife, Fleur Shomo, is breaking her silence after the rocker came out as a “proudly gay man.”

“Not really sure how to start this cause does anything even need to be said? But I guess I’ll just dive right in,” Fleur wrote via Instagram on Saturday, May 23. “The past few months have been a very disorientating and hurtful time to navigate. For both of us. But I will always want to love, protect and support Caleb. I have cared more about his well being over the years than anything else in the world.”

She continued, “To see the confusion and pain he went through and the highs and lows and wanting to help but not knowing how. You never want anything more for your person than for them to just be ok. You also ask yourself constantly if you’re a bad person for wondering wtf this means for your world & the anger you also feel. I am the only person that is having to deal with the duality of this situation. To support him whilst losing everything has been incredibly hard to figure out. You can love and support your person through the hardest time in their life, whilst also be completely demolished & lose yourself at the same time.”

On Saturday, Caleb — who has been the lead singer of the alternative metalcore band since 2012 after leaving the crabcore band Attack Attack! — came out as gay on Saturday after fans speculated about his sexuality online.

Kandy Muse and Chad Michaels Detail the Importance of Pride in 2024

“There has been a lot of speculation surrounding my personal life as of late and I feel compelled to set the record straight before it affects those I love any further. I am a proudly gay man,” he wrote via Instagram. “This is something I’ve been unpacking and reckoning with in my life for quite some time now. It’s been difficult to navigate the feelings surrounding the subject and figure out what to do with this fact.”

The singer added, “When it comes to my art/Beartsooth, I have always strived to chase who I am in the deepest part of my soul from album to album. As you could gather if you’ve followed the band at all in the earlier years, there are 4 very self deprecating albums about exploring my religious upbringing, depression, self hatred, and hopelessness. I am grateful for all these albums, yet feel embarrassed at times that I wouldn’t allow myself to really dig up the roots for so long.”

The post was the first from Caleb after he deleted his Instagram account in March following the release of the band’s new single “Free” from their upcoming album Pure Ecstasy. Along with the single, the singer debuted a new look that prompted Atilla frontman Chris Fronzak to make a homophobic remark. (Fronzak later apologized.)

In her public statement following her husband’s announcement, Fleur touched on the 14 years of marriage she shared with the singer while urging fans to continue to support her husband. Her remarks were also accompanied by a video of the pair dancing in a living room in front of a television.

JoJo Siwa’s Most Honest Quotes About Her Sexuality and Coming Out Journey

“Our nearly 14yrs of marriage was wonderful and full of so much fun, adventure & love. Nobody will know anything about our marriage like we do. And no one can ever truly know what depths of love exist between two people unless they are those people,” she continued. “I already miss it & my husband more than anything. Our story was a good one. And now it’s done.”

She added, “I hope anyone in the world going through this finds hope & courage & I hope the fans can continue to support Caleb. For now I’m going to keep focusing on what I can control & continue living my life trying to achieve what I want to achieve. And if I keep saying hi to as many dogs as possible along the way, then I’m sure things will slowly get better, day by day, piece by small piece, bird by bird.”

Jennifer Fessler Reveals Her Husband's Response to West Wilson Sex Claim

Jennifer Fessler is revealing who has been on a recent apology tour after Summer House’s Ciara Miller claimed The Real Housewives of New Jersey star had sex with West Wilson.

“West did reach out and apologize profusely and called and apologized to my husband and kids,” Fessler, 55, exclusively told Us Weekly on Friday, June 5, while attending Nancy Davis’ Race to Erase MS Gala sponsored by L’Agence at the Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles, referring to her husband, Jeff Fessler, and their two kids, son Zachary and daughter Rachel.

“But no, I haven’t gotten an apology [from Ciara],” she added. “But who cares at this point? It’s so stupid and not true.”

On May 8, Ciara claimed Jennifer slept with West after the Housewives star defended him amid the fallout surrounding his controversial relationship with fellow Summer House cast member — and her former BFF — Amanda Batula.

Jenn Fessler Says She’s Talked to West Wilson After Ciara Miller’s Sex Claim

“[West] is the cutest, sweetest golden retriever puppy dog,” Jennifer said while attending Vulture’s The Masterminds of Reality TV event.

“Lol, because they slept together too,” Ciara posted via Threads, responding to Jennifer’s comments.

West denied Ciara’s claims via his Instagram Stories, writing “news to me” over a popular meme indicating confusion and tagging Jennifer.

A source close to West also denied the accusation, exclusively telling Us that the claim was “absolutely not true” while describing Ciara’s comment as nothing more than a “silly allegation.”

Jennifer also addressed the viral claim — and issued her own unexpected apology of sorts — via her own Instagram Stories.

“In all seriousness, and while I can’t help but be a little flattered, it is not nice nor is it OK to post something categorically untrue and defamatory on social media,” she wrote. “Regardless of whatever rumors or apparent ‘evidence’ led you to that conclusion, that is the definition of libel.”

She concluded at the time, “If it were true, I would have no recourse. Because it’s a lie, this can get more complicated. Having said that, I hope we can rectify this. It’s enough now.”

On Friday, Jennifer revealed to Us that her relationship with members of the Summer House cast is effectively “over.”

Ciara Miller Seemingly Reacts After West and Jen Fessler Deny Hookup

“I think that my relationship with those kids is probably, let’s call that over,” she told Us. “i’ve had enough. I’m not interested in mingling with the Summer House group. No, no, thank you.”

She added of her current relationship with her husband, “Everything was always well. He laughed at it. He laughed too much, I started to get a little pissed, like, ‘It’s not that funny, Jeff.’ But it really was so stupid. And I don’t know, maybe one day we’ll get an apology. We’ll see.”

Spencer Pratt Addresses Past 9/11 Conspiracy Theories: 'Young and Naive'

Reality TV villain-turned-mayoral hopeful Spencer Pratt is addressing his past claims that the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks were an “inside job.”

“What I have learned almost 20 years later is, it’s actually the negligence of the people in power,” Pratt, 42, told CNN’s Jake Tapper during a Thursday, May 28, live interview. “I would have loved to have gone along with, when my house burned down and my parents’ house burned down, everyone saying, ‘It was lasers! It was a land grab! It was just like Maui!’ But it’s not.”

He continued, “The reality is, people in charge fail us as taxpayers.”

In 2009, Pratt appeared on notorious conspiracy theorist Alex JonesInfowars (now owned by the satirical website The Onion), claiming the 9/11 terrorist attacks were actually carried out by the U.S. government.

Spencer Pratt Shares How Years of Online Hate Prepared Him for Politics

“Not from my research, but from your research, it 100 percent is,” Pratt told Jones, praising the debunked conspiracy film Loose Change. “I can’t even believe that it took me seeing your film to know about building seven.”

Pratt also spread 9/11 conspiracy theories via his social media, posting on X, then Twitter, that anyone who could watch Loose Change and “not see the truth is blind.” He also claimed that if elected president of the United States he would reveal “the facts of 9/11 that were not presented to the mainstream media.”

Twenty years later, Pratt says that he no longer believes in 9/11 conspiracy theories, but has realized that the terrorist attacks were the result of powerful people making deadly mistakes.

“When you’re listening to that audio, that’s a 21, 22-year-old person,” he continued. “I’m now 42, and have experienced city negligence, state negligence, and I’ve learned a lot. It’s actually worse than a conspiracy, it’s that we have people in charge that make mistakes that get people killed.”

The Hills alum added, “So, unfortunately, you know, I was young and naive to understanding how there [are] people that will fail citizens across the board.”

Pratt admitted that he would have to “go back and look at all that” regarding his past conspiracy theory peddling, adding that he hasn’t “watched any of those things in 20 years or whatever.” It is also worth noting that when spreading 9/11 conspiracy theories, Pratt was nearly 26 years old, not 21 or 22.

“I bet now, with my fresh eyes of surviving the city’s negligence that burned 12 people in my neighborhood alive, 7,000 structures, and seeing how fast the internet said that was a conspiracy and how I had to be like, ‘No, this is how it happened — this, this and this — now with new fresh eyes, I’m sure I would look like at that a lot different,” he told Tapper. “I think anytime we see something that’s just so shocking and unbelievable we as humans want to try to find excuses, but sometimes the excuses are just real simple — people failed us as taxpayers.”

Pratt announced his unlikely mayoral bid on the one-year anniversary of the deadly Los Angeles wildfires that destroyed his home. He has since surged in the polls, barely trailing incumbent Karen Bass and fellow challenger Nithya Raman.

While his campaign has received some backlash, and many have denounced his political ambitions due to his reality TV past, Pratt has also secured numerous high-profile endorsements, including President Donald Trump and many of his former The Hills costars.

Spencer Pratt on His Mayoral Campaign, Death Threats and A-List Supporters

When asked if Pratt regrets his past conspiracy theory claims, the reality TV star reiterated his current stance.

“What I’m saying is I believe a lot of people failed to allow the Al-Qaeda terrorists to get in,” he said. “So I think the negligence in government allowed — not on purpose, but just failures. They didn’t burn my house down on purpose, they just failed. And again, everything I have done in the past, I was learning. I’m not perfect. I didn’t run to be mayor because I have some perfect past. I ran because there was no other fighter to stop corruption now. I was happy just living my life, feeding hummingbirds with my two kids, taking them to school.”

He continued, “I didn’t have this life to become one of these career politicians where I didn’t make mistakes, I wasn’t human, I didn’t say dumb or stupid things for 20 years in a very public light. So, you know, regret? Of course, I have 20 years of regret. I have talked about how many regrets, but that doesn’t connect to my mission now. Once you lose everything, once your parents lose everything, once your neighbors lose everything, you become a new person.”

Cops Say 'Private Citizens' Found 'Alaskan Bush People' Star Matt Brown's Body

Authorities are crediting a “group of private citizens” for ultimately recovering the body of Alaskan Bush People star Matt Brown.

“On Saturday, May 30, 2026, a group of private citizens conducting a search along the Okanogan River located a deceased individual in the river,” a Sunday, May 31, updated press release shared by Washington state’s Okanogan County Sheriff Office’s official Facebook account read in part. “The individual was recovered and brought to shore, where he was positively identified as Matthew Brown.”

The press release, signed by Sheriff Jodie Barcus, continued, “Matthew Brown has been transferred into the custody and care of the Okanogan County Coroner. The cause and manner of death will be determined by the Coroner’s Office. The Okanogan County Sheriff’s Office extends its condolences to Mr. Brown’s family and loved ones during this difficult time.”

The press release concluded by stating that “no further information” will be released, citing an “ongoing investigation” into the reality TV star’s untimely death.

Authorities Suspend Search for Possible 'Alaskan Bush People' Star Matt Brown

Bear Brown, Matt’s brother, confirmed his sibling’s death at the age of 43 via TikTok on Saturday, revealing that their other brother, Noah Brown, was with the group of private citizens when they located his oldest brother’s remains.

“They found a body in the river a few hours ago and it was positively identified as being Matt,” Bear, 38, said at the time. “Noah was with them and helped them pull the body out of the water. Noah identified [Matt].”

While an official cause of death has yet to be publicly revealed at the time of publication, Bear speculated that his brother’s death was “self-inflicted,” adding that he “never would have suspected that [Matt] would have hurt himself” even though his brother “struggled for a long time.”

“I was so worried that he would end up ODed or something like that,” he continued. “I didn’t think he would hurt himself.”

He added, “I ask people to please, please be respectful to my family and to my mom. Please watch the comments that you leave, guys. Sometimes words can hurt more than fists can … In one of [Matt’s] last videos, he was talking about how negative people were on his posts. You guys should keep in mind that people on the other side of your screen, people you are watching a video of, are real people too.”

What Happened to Alaskan Bush People's Matt Brown? Family's Theory and More

Later, Noah broke his silence in the wake of his oldest brother’s death, confirming he ID’d Matt’s body.

“For the past couple of days, I’ve been working with search and rescue groups trying to locate the body and today at 3:27, the group that I was working with located the missing body and I identified it as Matthew,” he told the camera. “My oldest brother, Matthew Brown, has passed away.”

He added, “I was there when we pulled him out of the river. We hauled him up off the bank and then after the sheriff’s got there and everything, the coroner did his thing and I went down to identify that it was him.”

LPBW’s Jacob Roloff Is ‘Surprising Everyone’ After Entering Local Politics

Little People Big World’s Jacob Roloff is seemingly the latest reality TV star to enter the world of politics.

“Amidst the busy season on the farm, I have been quietly watching from the sidelines as Jacob gets more and more involved in local politics, surprising everyone with his eloquence while public speaking (me the most, he was very shy when we first started dating and I never imagined he would be able to do that) and how passionate he is about the topics he speaks on,” Roloff’s wife, Isabel Roloff, wrote via Instagram on Friday, June 5, announcing her husband’s foray into local politics.

“He’s educated and anyone who knows him knows he actually knows what he’s talking about (unlike some people who just pretend to),” she continued in the caption, alongside two photos of the pair holding hands while walking along a hillside. “Obviously he’s been busier than ever and it means less time for us, but I’m proud of the way he pursues his interests, often multiple at a time.”

She added, “People are noticing his videos from city council get a lot of traction on social media and his voice is finally being heard. Friends and people have been coming out of the woodwork saying they have seen videos of him speaking recently and they’re proud of him. Many folks in his life have encouraged him to run for some sort of local position. He definitely has my vote.”

Little People, Big World’s Jacob Roloff and Isabel Rock’s Romance Timeline

Isabel then encouraged her hundreds of thousands of followers to “check out @hillsboroherald” to view some of the videos featuring her husband, or check out “@kevinhfoster’s page as well for more.”

If Roloff, who fans first met in 2006 on TLC’s hit series Little People Big World, does decide to run for public office, he will join a growing list of reality TV stars who have decided to turn into career politicians.

“I’d like to save lives for the next three to five years, with Archangel centers,” Jersey Shore’s Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino told local New Jersey news outlet News 12 on May 28 of his personal political ambitions. “I’d like to have an Archangels center in every 50 states [sic], and after that, you know, I will introduce everybody to Governor Situation.”

Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino Says He's Considering Career in Politics

When asked if he would enter the political arena as a Republican or a Democrat, Sorrentino, 43, played coy.

“I can’t announce it yet, but, uh, I think the, uh, residents of New Jersey would like no property tax,” he responded.

Other reality TV stars-turned-politicians famously include current President Donald Trump, Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy and The Hills alum Spencer Pratt, who us currently running for mayor of Los Angeles.

North Carolina Governor Orders Flags at Half-Staff In Honor of Kyle Busch

The country is continuing to mourn the loss of and pay tribute to NASCAR legend Kyle Busch after his untimely and shocking death.

“Kyle Busch was not just a talented and record-setting driver; he was also a kind person,” North Carolina Governor Josh Stein said in a statement shared via the North Carolina Department of Transportation on Friday, May 22, announcing that he has ordered all “U.S. and North Carolina flags at state facilities to half-staff” in honor of the late racer.

“His loss will be felt throughout the entire NASCAR community and well beyond,” the governor continued. “Anna and I send our deepest condolences to the Busch family during this incredibly difficult time. May his memory be a blessing.”

The governor has ordered flags to fly at half-staff from sunrise on Sunday “through sunset Sunday, May 24,” to pay homage to the racer, who died on Thursday, May 21, after a brief hospitalization for a serious illness.

NASCAR CEO Breaks His Silence on Kyle Busch’s Death

“We are saddened and heartbroken to share the news of the passing of Kyle Busch, a two-time Cup champion and one of our sports’ greatest and fiercest drivers,” the official NASCAR social media account announced via X at the time. “We extend our deepest condolences to the Busch family, Richard Childress Racing and the entire motorsports community.”

On Saturday, a rep for the Busch family confirmed the late racer’s cause of death to NBC News, telling the network that the late athlete died of pneumonia that progressed “into sepsis, resulting in rapid and overwhelming associated complications.” Busch is survived by his wife, Samantha, and his two children: son Brexton and daughter Lennix.

The same day that Busch’s cause of death was confirmed, his racing team paid a silent tribute to the athlete at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

“A silent garage pays its respect as the No. 22 @RCRacing Chevrolet unloads at @CLTMotorSpdway,” NASCAR wrote via X, alongside a video showing the late driver’s team unloading his vehicle.

The blue, white and red Chevrolet adorned with the Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen logo was unloaded in complete silence. The car’s number was changed from No. 8 to No. 33, though a small No. 8 decal was seen on the door of the vehicle.

Kyle Busch 911 Call Reveals More Details About His Health Before Death

On Friday, NASCAR announced that the RCR team “opted to shelf the No. 8” that Busch last drove, switching to the car No. 33 for the foreseeable future. The team indicated it will reserve Busch’s No. 8 for his son “when he is ready.”

In Governor Stein’s Friday announcement, the politician urged others to honor the NASCAR driver by also lowering their flags.

“Individuals, businesses, schools, municipalities, counties and other government subdivisions are also encouraged to fly flags at half-staff for the duration of time indicated,” the announcement read in part.

Morgan Wallen Cancels Show After On-Stage Piano Incident and Tech Issues

Morgan Wallen has canceled his second show in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, following his viral on-stage incident involving a piano.

“After talking with local officials and my team, there is no choice but to cancel tonight’s show due to severe adverse weather conditions expected throughout the rest of the day and night,” Wallen, 33, announced via his Instagram Stories on Saturday, June 6. “Safety for my fans and crew is the highest priority.”

The country music star concluded by reminding fans, “Refunds available at point of purchase.”

Wallen was scheduled to perform at Pittsburgh’s Acrisure Stadium Saturday night before the concert was ultimately cancelled. WTAE meteorologist Jill Szwed told local outlet TribLive earlier that morning that “scattered thunderstorms” were expected in the area.

Morgan Wallen Apologizes for Abruptly Canceled Show, Gives Health Update

“It is what it is,” Nate Lynch, a fan who had tickets to the now-cancelled show — part of the singer’s 23-stadium Still The Problem Tour — told TribLive following Wallen’s announcement. “You can’t control Mother Nature. It’s fortunate we’re going to be able to get our tickets refunded.”

Wallen’s canceled performance comes a little over one week after the singer raised eyebrows for flipping over a piano on-stage and mid-performance at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver, Colorado, seemingly frustrated over tech issues.

In footage shared via social media and multiple news outlets, the musician appeared unable to hear the instrument through his ear piece during a performance of his hit song “Sand In My Boots.” The singer ultimately sang the tune a capella.

Us Weekly reached out to representatives for Wallen for comment at the time but did not hear back.

“Hey, I just want you guys to know that right now the piano is working,” the singer told fans while tapping the keys of a piano, breaking his silence in a video shared via TikTok in the wake of the viral incident. “That’s what they told me last night, too.”

The country music star captioned the video, “Can’t you tell I’m so distraught over my piano?”

Morgan Wallen Jokes About Ole Miss Concert, 1 Year After Canceling Show

Fans responded to the viral moment and the country singer’s cheeky response in the comments section.
“I love seeing you clap back,” one fan wrote.

“Hah! I was there … great concert!” another commented.

Others voiced their disapproval of the singer’s behavior.

“Grown professional if you can believe it,” one wrote, while another added, “From chairs in the streets to Nashville to flipping pianos. Wow, anger management may help. What a baby.” (Wallen was arrested in May 2020 for public intoxication and disorderly conduct while partying at Kid Rock’s Nashville bar, Big Honky Tonk. Wallen was later cleared of both charges and apologized for his actions via X, then known as Twitter.)

Mackenzie Shirilla Reveals Her Post-Prison Plans If She's Ever Released

Convicted murderer Mackenzie Shirilla is revealing her post-prison plans, should she ever secure her release.

“I’ma be a life coach and stuff,” Shirilla, 21, reportedly told her mom, Natalie Shirilla, via phone from the Ohio Reformatory for Women in Marysville, Ohio, according to audio obtained by TMZ and published on Saturday, May 30. “I’m just going to be everything. I’ma do everything.”

Mackenzie is currently serving two concurrent sentences of 15 years to life after she was convicted in a 2023 bench trial of 12 felony charges, including murder, in connection with the July 2022 car crash that killed her boyfriend Dominic Russo and high school friend Davion Flanagan.

Mackenzie was 17 years old and driving her Toyota Camry at over 100 mph in Strongsville, Ohio, when she intentionally hit a brick wall, speeding up and steering her car into the building with her boyfriend and friend in the vehicle. She was the only one to survive despite sustaining severe injuries. She maintains her innocence and continues to claim she cannot remember the crash.

Her case has recaptured the nation’s attention after the May 15 release of Netflix’s documentary The Crash, documenting the moments leading up to and following the deadly car crash.

The 21-year-old shared her hopeful post-prison plans after her mom praised her for being a “pillar of strength” in the wake of the crash, trial and her subsequent incarceration. (Mackenzie is not eligible for parole until October 2037.)

“All the things you have been experiencing. It’s so much. So many highs and lows, up and downs. A pillar of strength, my love,” Natalie told her daughter, per the same audio recording obtained by TMZ.

“Yes, like, man. Like, I just wanna come home and just like … I don’t even know,” Mackenzie reportedly responded.

How Many Years Will Mackenzie Shirilla Be in Prison? Sentence Details

“You’re going to be able to help so many more people than you already were, you know what I mean?” her mother said. “Just because of your experiences.”

While Mackenzie apparently remains hopeful for the future, prison records recently obtained by Us Weekly show that she has faced multiple disciplinary actions in prison, including for a NSFW video call in 2025 during which the convicted felon allegedly showed her breasts to a visitor who flashed “a dildo sticking out of her pants twice.”

Mackenzie was also written up for a possession of altered clothing and four “nude magazine pictures” in October 2024. Prison officials restricted her commissary access for 30 days as punishment for those offenses, per the docs.

Adult Creator Bonnie Blue Reveals Plans for Her 'Disgusting' Next Stunt

Adult content creator Bonnie Blue is revealing the detail of her next stunt, which she admits is “disgusting.”

“My fans will be involved in my baby shower, which is happening in June,” Blue, 27, exclusively tells Us Weekly. “To celebrate a wholesome pregnancy, my baby shower will be so special it’ll turn into a golden shower.”

(For the uninitiated, a “golden shower” is a slang term used to describe one person urinating on another person or persons for sexual pleasure or gratification.)

Blue continued, “My fans can cover me in their urine and have sex with me. Traditional baby shower games will be played throughout the day, piñatas and my holes will be getting smashed. My pregnancy has been a community effort and it’ll continue throughout my pregnancy. I don’t want to tear, so I plan on being stretched regularly.”

Bonnie Blue Reveals Due Date for Alleged Baby, Teases Sex Reveal

In addition to allegedly allowing her fans to pee on her during her baby shower, Blue says she still plans on “auctioning off the baby’s name” to the highest bidder.

Blue (real name Tia Billinger) claimed in February that she was pregnant after having unprotected sex with 400 men as part of her “breeding mission.”

“I’ll have a gender reveal later on in the year with my fans,” Blue exclusively teased to Us on May 20. She further alleged that she will be a mom before the end of 2026, claiming to Us that her due date is sometime in November.

The adult content creator previously admitted to her numerous TikTok followers that the upcoming stunt is considered “pretty disgusting,” even by her standards.

“Get ready with me. And I realized, I’m not setting women back, I’m just setting myself back,” she said in a May 12 video. “And if I’m saying it’s disgusting then… It’s taking something very wholesome, like a pregnancy, and mixing it with something which is very much out there, even for the industry I’m in.”

OnlyFans Star Bonnie Blue Addresses Pregnancy Rumors

Blue added that she’s been sick throughout her alleged pregnancy, at times needing to “double up” on her anti-nausea medication to get through the day. Still, she continued, her alleged morning sickness “doesn’t mean” she’s “not going to have fun” at her baby shower-turned-sex-stunt event.

“What’s going to be funny about the event, if you were looking up close — like, I’ve just got this particular image in my mind — up close it’s like, that’s quite cute, quite wholesome,” she explained. “Then you’ll pan out and be, like, what the actual f***.”

One year prior to her alleged pregnancy, Blue — who split from estranged husband Oliver “Ollie” Davidson in 2023 — exclusively told Us that she had struggled with fertility.

“I tried to get pregnant for years with my ex-partner and really, really struggled and I’d have to go down the IVF route,” she said at the time. “So I wish I could say I might get pregnant, however, I’m not in that position where I can fall pregnant naturally.”

Spencer Pratt Responds to Hannah Einbinder After Comedian Slams His Campaign

Reality TV star-turned-hopeful politician Spencer Pratt is responding to Hacks star Hannah Einbinder after the comedian slammed his surging mayoral campaign.

“She says from a literal red carpet, surrounded by armed security, completely insulated from the horrors on our streets that Angelenos and their kids have to suffer through every day,” Pratt, 42, wrote via X on Friday, May 29. “I’m glad she doesn’t have to suffer the consequences of Karen [Bass] and Nithya’s [Raman] failures, but she’s in an elite minority and the rest of us want change.”

Earlier on Friday, Einbinder, 31, spoke out against Pratt’s mayoral run while attending the Critics Choice Association’s Celebration of LGBTQ+ Cinema & Television in Los Angeles.

“There’s a lot of wealth in this city and I think that there are a lot of people who masquerade as Democrats or people on the left, but really, money is their key issue and that’s what lead them to vote for people like Spencer Pratt — who is endorsed by Donald Trump,” she told Variety’s Marc Malkin while walking the event’s red carpet. “It’s important to resist that.”

Meghan McCain Says Spencer Pratt Is Going to 'Win' Race for L.A. Mayor

She continued, “It’s very complicated. No one is perfect, there are no perfect candidates. I’m overwhelmed in a lot of ways but I have made the choice to put Nithya down, and that’s what we’re doing girls!”

The former The Hills villain announced his run for L.A. mayor against Democratic incumbent Mayor Bass and a slew of other hopefuls — including Raman, Adam Miller and others — on the one-year anniversary of the deadly L.A. wildfires that destroyed his home. Despite being a registered Republican with many ties to the conservative, right-wing and MAGA media spheres and personalities, Pratt claims he’s running for office as an “independent community advocate.”

“The reason why I’m resonating across the country, and even outside of the country, is because all I focus on is the truth,” Pratt claimed during a Thursday, May 28, appearance on Fox News’ Fox & Friends program. “I’m the look-around candidate. I do basics. I don’t do national politics. I don’t do parties. I just say, ‘Hey, look, they’re stealing all of our tax money to give it to drug addicts to have needles and tourniquets and they’re even selling the drugs to these addicts to let these people die on our sidewalks. I want to be the compassionate one, get these people mandatory treatment, medical treatment with doctors who help them get off fentanyl and super meth and that’s what people actually want.”

The mayoral hopeful added, “People want an outsider who is not a politician, who is just saying the facts. The truth.”

When Variety’s Malkin told Einbinder some people would like to see her run for office, she dismissed the proposal while siding with Lisa Rinna and comments the reality TV star made about celebrities becoming politicians.

Erika Kirk Backs Spencer Pratt's 'Authentically American' L.A. Mayoral Bid

“You don’t and neither do I,” Einbinder quipped. “No! Spencer shouldn’t [run for office] and neither should I, OK? I’m with Lisa Rinna. I stand with Lisa Rinna.”

While attending the American Music Awards at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena on Monday, May 25, Rinna denounced Pratt’s campaign while claiming that no reality TV star should be running for political office.

“Not a reality star,” she said, before evoking President Donald Trump, another reality TV star-turned-politician. “I love him [Pratt], but we’ve already done that. We’re not going to do that again. You got me, because listen, I’m a reality person. I wouldn’t want me as mayor, really. I mean, let’s just face it, I love him [Pratt]. I think he’s amazing. I just think we did that.”

“Big Blue nation, it’s a pleasure to be here,” Dart, 23, told a crowd in Suffern, New York, on Friday, May 22, during a campaign-like rally for Republican congressman Mike Lawler, who is up for reelection in a tough swing district. “What an honor, what a privilege it is to be here, and without further ado, I’m grateful, I’m honored, I’m pleasured to introduce the 45th and 47th president of the United States of America, President Donald J. Trump.”

Dart then shook the nearly 80-year-old president’s hand after he appeared on stage.

“I want to thank Jaxson Dart,” Trump said after his introduction and before praising the young quarterback for his football prowess. “This is going to be a future Hall of Famer in my book. Thank you, thank you Jaxson. Lot of talent.”

The president went on to refer to Dart multiple times during his speech, at one point remarking on the NFL player’s physical appearance, calling him a “beautiful guy” with “legs like tree trunks.”

“I’m looking at Jaxson,” Trump said while discussing his goal of banning all transgender athletes from participating in women’s sports. “I’d like to know, is there any woman in the audience that thinks they can tackle that guy? Because I’d like to meet you. I’d like to shake your hand. I don’t know. Jackson, you think you can play against women OK?”

The president continued, “Don’t get involved, Jackson. Don’t answer that question.”

While Dart’s remarks were brief and his time on stage short, he received online backlash from some fans and even a few of his fellow teammates.

“Though this s*** was AI, what we doing man?” linebacker and fellow 2025 first round pick Abdul Carter wrote via X on Saturday, May 23, while re-sharing a video of the rally and Dart’s short introductory speech.

Dart did not respond to this teammates online criticism at the time of publication.

Veteran Giants offensive tackle Jermaine Eleumunor seemingly came to Dart’s defense, telling New York Daily News’ Giants beat writer Pat Leonard to “relax” in response to his reaction over Dart’s campaign rally appearance.

Dart will start just his second year in the NFL this fall, finishing his rookie season with a 4-8 record, completing 63.7% of his passes for 2,272 yards and 15 touchdowns. He finished fourth in the NFL’s Offensive Rookie of the Year award voting.

Claude Lemieux's Friend Claims He Carried an 'Injustice' Before Death at 60

A close friend of Claude Lemieux claims the late NHL legend carried an alleged “injustice” prior to his untimely death.

“He always lived this as an injustice, a heavy burden to bear,” Réjean Tremblay, Montreal hockey columnist and friend who knew Lemieux for 30 years, told The New York Post in an interview published on Saturday, May 30, claiming that the late hockey star was “deeply sensitive to rejection” and, as a result, never got over the fact that he wasn’t inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame following his 2009 retirement.

“The sense of rejection ran deeper than one might have imagined,” Tremblay further claimed. “He took it very hard.”

The NHL legend was found dead on Thursday, May 28, by one of his three sons. He was 60. His death was later ruled a suicide.

“The National Hockey League mourns the passing of Claude Lemieux, a four-time Stanley Cup champion and one of the greatest big-game Players in hockey history,” NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman said in a statement. Lemieux — who played for 21 seasons in the NHL between 1983 and 2009 — is survived by his wife, Deborah, daughter Claudia, and sons Brendan, Christopher and Michael.

“I love you dad! My son [Luc’s] favorite person is going to watch from above for a while,” Lemieux’s son Brendan wrote via Instagram, breaking his silence in the wake of his father’s shocking death. “We will see you.”

The NHL star’s death came just three days after he made an emotional appearance at Game 3 of the NHL’s Eastern Conference Finals between the Montreal Canadiens and the Carolina Hurricanes on Monday, May 25. Lemieux acted as a torchbearer prior to the game. (Lemieux played for the Canadiens from 1983 to 1990.)

“It’s possible that surge of love, that wave of love on Monday evening, triggered an emotion that was too intense,” Tremblay claimed to The New York Post, citing other friends of Lemieux, per the outlet. “It might have reawakened old pains, old suffering.”

Colombe Lacroix, another close friend of the hockey star who was reportedly at the scene with the surviving family on Thursday, per The New York Post, told the outlet that Lemieux had been “going through a difficult time” and was allegedly “depressed” prior to his death.

“They didn’t expect that at all,” she added of the player’s death by suicide. “They never saw it coming. It’s so devastating, everyone is upside down.”

The widow of former Colorado Avalanche general manager Pierre Lacroix, who became close with Lemieux and his wife when Lemieux played for the Avalanche from 1995 to 1999, then recalled the last time she visited with the famed hockey player.

“I held Claude in my arms, and I said thank you for being there for me,” she told The New York Post on Saturday. “He left our world too soon and I hope he’s in a better palace and that he’s happy.”
