James Gunn has addressed another DCU rumor after a new one emerged on social media. When the superhero filmmaker isn't busy with a project, he's typically seen on social media, engaging with fans. Gunn frequently uses his platform to discuss developments and speculations about future projects. One of the most talked-about speculative DC projects in fans' minds has been Teen Titans. First introduced in 1964, this group of teenage superheroes was led by Robin, aka Dick Grayson. This superhero group has been adapted into various media, including Teen Titans and Teen Titans Go! TV shows and the live-action Titansseries, but has yet to fully assemble in the DCU, and the only character to appear in the DCEU was Ray Fisher's Cyborg in 2017's Justice League.

Kiki's Delivery Service follows Kiki (Kirsten Dunst), a 13-year-old witch-in-training who lives in a world where witches and humans coexist. After leaving home with her cat, Jiji (Phil Hartman), she starts her own delivery service in a new town and faces challenges that come with her newfound independence. The film made over $41.8 million worldwide and had a limited IMAX release early this year.
