Netflix Is Officially Dropping Eric Dane’s Best Action Thriller Series Next Month

Tragically, the Eric Dane renaissance was cut short earlier this year when the beloved Grey's Anatomy star died at the age of 53 following a battle with ALS. The actor had been in the middle of a solid run across film and television, enjoying appearances in everything from the Prime Video crime thriller Countdown to the Sydney Sweeney flick Americana, Samara Weaving's Borderline, Bad Boys: Ride or Die, and the Zachary Quinto-led Brilliant Minds. One of his last performances is still airing on television, too, with Euphoria still wrapping up its third and final season. Still, he ultimately left behind an impressive television legacy, including one hidden gem that's about to return to streaming.

Netflix's Fan-Favorite Fantasy Series Unleashes the Fire Nation in Explosive New Trailer

It's been a busy, yet rocky start to the year for Avatar: The Last Airbender. For the first time since The Legend of Korra ended in 2014, an entirely new story in the world of elemental benders is about to arrive in the form of The Legend of Aang: The Last Airbender, originally slated for theaters but since moved to be a Paramount+ streaming release on October 9. Paramount, the filmmakers, and all the artists behind the animated feature were left reeling, however, when the entire film was leaked online back in April. A suspect was arrested just weeks later, but the damage had already been done, with those behind the film voicing the "disrespect" they felt seeing their years of effort spread across the internet.

On August 28, he'll finally get to appear on the big screen as hotshot Acme lawyer Buddy Crane in the long-awaited release of the Looney Tunes legal comedy, Coyote vs. Acme, after it was saved by Ketchup Entertainment last year. Following that, in October, he's set to lead the high-octane Matchbox: The Movie, adapting the world of Mattel's die-cast toy cars into a globe-trotting action-adventure. First, however, he's going to come face-to-face with his brother from another mother.

One of Marvel's Most Groundbreaking Comics Gets a Stunning Reimagining With New Artwork [Exclusive]

Marvel Comics has published some unforgettable stories since its origins as Timely Comics in 1939, giving rise to beloved modern superheroes like Captain America, Spider-Man, and The Fantastic Four. Yet, one of the greatest series ever to come from the company doesn't even center on a super-powered individual. Debuting in 1994, Marvels reflected on the history of the iconic protectors of Earth through the emotional lens of an ordinary man named Phil Sheldon across four decades. It's often placed among the Mount Rushmore of Marvel Comics greats for how it completely reframes the impactful moments from past stories, from the triumphant to the tragic. Now, it's finally being reimagined in a novelization by Abrams ComicArts, and Collider is thrilled to offer an exclusive preview.

‘KPop Demon Hunters’ Reunion Set for New Psychological Thriller [Exclusive]

Although it's disappointing that KPop Demon Hunters isn't expected to follow up on its world-dominating first tour until 2029, the members of HUNTR/X should be back on-screen before then. Last year, it was announced that Arden Cho and May Hong, the voices behind Rumi and Mira, would be re-teaming for a new film set against the backdrop of the K-pop industry — Perfect Girl. The project is a much different beast than their animated smash hit, focusing on the darker side of the scene with a story that's been described as "Scream meets Black Swan." Among those accompanying the pair is Adeline Rudolph, who had nothing but kind words for her two co-stars, even if the film pits them against one another.
